At The Busy Bee, it is extremely important to us to maintain low teacher to student ratios across all age groups, even during our growth. This facilitates our relationship based program and allows teachers to get to know each child's interests and abilities to help maximize their potential.
Children are assigned to classrooms based on their age, individual needs, and available space. Each classroom schedule is customized based on the age of the children, to include as many learning opportunities as possible.

Ages: 3 months - 18 months
We have two infant classrooms - older infants and younger infants. Both classrooms have 2 teachers at all time, with a third floater to help whereever they are needed most.
Our infant program is thoughtfully designed to support each child’s unique rhythm—honoring their individual feeding, sleeping, and play needs. With gentle care, sensory exploration, and plenty of cuddles... our experienced teachers build trusting relationships that form the foundation for lifelong learning.
Families can feel confident knowing their little one is surrounded by warmth, developmentally appropriate activities, and an environment that feels just like home—where every coo, smile, and milestone is celebrated.
Ages: 1 to 3 years old
Both of our toddler classrooms have two full time teachers, allowing students to create meaningful, lasting relationships with their peers and teachers. Our younger toddler room has a class size of 10 and our older toddler classroom has 12 students.
Toddler teachers focus on creating opportunities for purposeful play and offering nurturing guidance. We begin to establish meaningful routines by following a flexible schedule that incorporates both individual and group activities, center time, outdoor play, lunch, nap, and snack time.
Ages: 3 to 4 years old
The Preschool classrooms have one full time lead teacher and one full time teaching assistant.
Preschool students participate in center time, both individual and group activities, outdoor play, lunch, nap and snack. Teachers guide students through purposeful play and meaningful questions. Students begin to engage in whole group instruction in the form of music time, story time, and morning circle. Students are having so much fun that they don't even realize they are developing skills to prepare them for future academic success!

Our Pre-Kindergarten classrooms have one full time lead

Pre-Kindergarteners are eager to explore and learn more about the world around them! Teachers encourage discovery through intentional play, student guided investatigation, meaningful questioning, direct instruction, and discussion.
